This Is NOT Then.

 We Need MORE THAN Political Solutions.

[NOTE: I originally wrote this article for another site before the election.]

I have been a Constitutional-Conservative since 1976.

I finally surrendered my heart, soul and life to The Lord Jesus Christ on August 14th, 1976. From the moment Jesus changed me from the old creature/sinner that I was into a new born creature IN Christ Jesus (see II Corinthians 5:17, 21 and II Corinthians 6:14-7:1) I became more and more Conservative. As I studied The Bible, God’s Holy Word, and began to read The Declaration of Independence, The Federalist Papers, The Constitution and The Bill of Rights (including the 11th Amendment) I was more and more solidified into a Constitutional-Conservative because God had made me a Biblical-Christian FIRST. 

 

I became a part of The Conservative Movement then as led by Rev. Jerry Falwell, Sr (who would be ashamed of his son’s support of Trump), Dr. James Kennedy, Dr. James Dobson, Dr. Timothy LaHaye, Rev. David Wilkerson, and a little known man from California, Ronald Wilson Reagan. I eagerly supported Reagan in 1976, and again in his two landslide victories in 1980 and 1984.

 

Back then a Biblical, Judeo-Christian approach to politics with a true Conservative politician was enough. We could find, support and elect the genuine Conservative, employ Constitutional-Conservative principles and values and change America for the better.

 

But…this is NOT then. 

 

Since 1900 we have ONLY had two genuinely Conservative Presidents- Coolidge and Reagan.
Woodrow Wilson was a Liberal.
Hoover was a Liberal.
FDR, Truman, JFK. LBJ, Carter, Clinton and Obama- all Liberals.
So was Nixon, Ford, Eisenhower, and both Bushes to some degree or another, with Nixon being a flat-out R.I.N.O. .

And of course, all the Democrats were Liberals.

So America has drifted further and further into Socialism, Marxism, Communism, chaos and tyranny.
The more we shed our Godly, Biblical heritage the more oppressed we became.
The more we rejected the constraints of The Constitution and America’s Founding Documents the more we have become slaves.
Until we work half a year just to pay taxes. 

It use to be we could simply apply Biblical principles via a genuine Conservative, like Reagan, and change that…use to be…

 

But Marxism’s steady erosion and encroachment has so overtaken our schools, our media, our press, and even our pulpits that the voices crying out for Marxism are louder and more in number than those crying out against Marxism. We have far too many who are willfully blind, deaf and asleep…ignorant and/or uncaring of the imminent fall and looming judgment that is soon to befall America, and is already upon us.

 

No…this is NOT then.

A mere political answer is NOT the answer.
NO mere politician, be they even a Thomas Jefferson, can save America…because America has rejected her only, true salvation and chosen the Utopian path of least resistance, ease, and comfort…aka as the Marxist “Paradise”.

Being blind and deaf to the Truth- we have chosen and embraced the Lie…and for too long have we done so.
1913- the IRS, income tax and Federal Reserve.
1930’s-1940’s- FDR’s “New (Marxist) Deal”.
1962- ban God, prayer, The Bible, The Ten Commandments.
The 1960’s-1970’s Liberalism on the rise.
1972- BABY MURDER MADE LEGAL.
1992- Clinton.
2008-Present- ObaMarxist, and the rise of Islam, Marxism, chaos, riots and sodomy.

 

Now our choices are two ultra-Left, New York Liberals- Hitlary and Trampo.

This speaks volumes of America’s electorate that Americans would be so deceived, so deluded as to let America get to the place where ALL we have to choose from is strychnine and cyanide! God help us…AND ONLY HE CAN. 

 

No. No Ted Cruz, No Reagan, No Coolidge…not even Thomas Jefferson can save America.

 

ONLY THE LORD JESUS CHRIST CAN. And in truth has always been the ONLY ONE who can.

Until recently God was able to choose and use human vessels to be the means to implement HIS ways and will.

But no more. America is too far gone. Too many will not listen. Too many have a vested interest in that which destroys, and all for (short lived) personal gain.

No. America needs God. America needs a revival of earth shattering proportions. America NEEDS Jesus Christ, and NEEDS HIM NOW.

NO mere political answer will do…it’s too late, we are far beyond that. We NEED GOD and we NEED HIM  NOW.

I KNOW WHY I’M A CONSERVATIVE. DO YOU?

This column is not about Milo, although his star going supernova certainly inspired its timing. It’s about us.

Over the past couple of decades, it’s become painfully obvious that despite all the books we’ve sold and conferences we’ve sold out, most Americans still cannot define what “conservatism” actually is. This is why we fall for the likes of provocateurs with troubled souls (Milo) or flat-out charlatans (Trump) provided they produce anti-Left click bait. Conservatism is merely defined by opposition to the Left these days, simply because conservatism itself is undefined these days.

Case in point, I was on CSPAN for an hour prior to the election, and an articulate and intelligent caller said he’d never heard someone talk like me before about the issues facing the country. So he asked me why I’m a conservative.

Here is the answer I gave him:

I’m a conservative because I believe in conserving things. Those things that have proven throughout history to be what’s best for the human condition this side of eternity. Those things which are based in the ‘Laws of Nature and Nature’s God’ as our founding document puts it. The Declaration of Independence, which is the mission statement for America. And these things are what’s best for all of us regardless of race, gender, or ethnicity, because we’re all made in the image of the same God — from whom our rights come

 

If you grabbed 10 self-proclaimed conservatives at CPAC this weekend and asked them to define conservatism, would you get basically the same definition (specific wording aside)?

You may not even get a definition at all in some cases. You’d get a list of principles or issue preferences instead. But don’t we have to know what a word actually means before we can correctly use it in a sentence?

And now we’re even putting modifiers in front of the word: Christian conservative, social conservative, fiscal conservative, libertarian conservative, etc. As if it’s possible to conserve some things that are good for people while not conserving the others.

Like we can have limited government without a moral people capable of self-control. Or we can have a moral people capable of self-control, while also having a big government deciding right and wrong for us by incentivizing certain behaviors over others.

Conservatism is not a smorgasbord with an a la carte menu, where we can pick and choose the things we like and then indulge away. It’s an all-encompassing worldview that sees history holistically, because people are holistic as well. We are body, mind, and soul — not naturalistic accidents or a random set of impulses.

Now, this is usually where those who disagree with me while calling themselves conservatives bristle and respond with something like this, “Where do you get off imposing your definition of conservatism on the rest of us?”

If that’s you, you’re proving my point. I didn’t list a priority of issues or principles in giving my definition, but acknowledged there is absolute and transcendent truth out there I have to humble myself before and abide by. For it will be true even if I don’t, and when you break the natural law it ends up breaking you…

…That doesn’t mean someone else can’t word it better or more completely than I have clumsily attempted to articulate here. But the essence of the definition doesn’t change because it cannot. Any more than someone may define gravity better and more completely than Newton did, but the essence of gravity itself remains the same. For such truths are predefined for us; it’s simply up to us to discover them…

 …Therefore, it is healthy and productive for our movement to debate and discuss with one another the most prudent way to apply what we believe. On such matters, reasonable and principled people may disagree and do so vehemently, even.

But what is not healthy or productive for our movement is to not agree on what we believe or to not even know. In fact, if that’s where we are, then we’re really not a movement at all.

Provision as to migration or importation of certain persons. Habeas Corpus, Bills of attainder, etc. Taxes, how apportioned. No export duty. No commercial preference. Money, how drawn from Treasury, etc. No titular nobility. Officers not top receive presents, etc.

  • 1. The migration or importation of such persons as any of the states now existing shall think proper to admit, shall not be prohibited by the Congress prior to the year 1808, but a tax or duty may be imposed on such importations, not exceeding 10 dollars for each person.

Amendments

    The Congress, whenever two-thirds of both houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose amendments to this constitution, or on the application of the legislatures of two-thirds of the several states, shall call a convention for proposing amendments, which, in either case, shall be valid to all intents and purposes, as part of this constitution, when ratified by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several states, or by conventions in three-fourths thereof, as the one or the other mode of ratification may be proposed by the Congress: Provided, that no amendment which may be made prior to the year 1808, shall in any manner affect the first and fourth clauses in the ninth section of the first article; and that no state, without its consent, shall be deprived of its equal suffrage in the Senate.

The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

AMENDMENT X

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Kentucky’s Resolution 1:

That the several states composing the United States of America are not united on the principle of unlimited submission to their general government; but that, by compact, under the style and title of a Constitution for the United States, and of amendments thereto, they constituted a general government for special purposes, delegated to that government certain definite powers, reserving, each state to itself, the residuary mass of right to their own self-government; and that whensoever the general government assumes undelegated powers, its acts are unauthoritative, void, and of no force; that to this compact each state acceded as a state, and is an integral party, its co-States forming, as to itself, the other party; that this government, created by this compact, was not made the exclusive or final judge of the extent of the powers delegated to itself, since that would have made its discretion, and not the Constitution, the measure of its powers; but that, as in all other cases of compact among powers having no common judge, each party has an equal right to judge for itself, as well of infractions as of the mode and measure of redress.

 

 

Kentucky Resolution 2.
That the Constitution of the United States, having delegated to Congress a power to punish treason, counterfeiting the securities and current coin of the United States, piracies, and felonies committed on the high seas, and offenses against the law of nations, and no other crimes, whatsoever; and it being true as a general principle, and one of the amendments to the Constitution having also declared, that “the powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people,” therefore the act of Congress, passed on the 14th day of July, 1798, and intitled “An Act in addition to the act intitled An Act for the punishment of certain crimes against the United States,” as also the act passed by them on the—day of June, 1798, intitled “An Act to punish frauds committed on the bank of the United States,” (and all their other acts which assume to create, define, or punish crimes, other than those so enumerated in the Constitution,) are altogether void, and of no force whatsoever.

THE BILL OF RIGHTS – FULL TEXT

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

  1. This directly references and restricts CONGRESS; The States and The People CAN freely express, display and celebrate their Christian faith, regardless of denomination, however they freely decide, and ON public lands.
  2. ALL The Federal and State Building of the time had Bible Scripture, Biblical references, and/or Biblical depictions on and/or in them,
  3. 27 of the 56 Founding Fathers that signed our Declaration of Independence, and the 41 that signed our Constitution were seminary educated Ministers, many were ORDAINED Ministers of the various Christian denominations of the day.
  4. One of the FIRST acts of the VERY FIRST CONGRESS was to purchase and distribute 20,000 BIBLES that were destroyed in the Revolutionary War…WITH TAX DOLLARS.
  5. Also the FIRST CONGRESS established and funded WITH TAX DOLLARS The American Bible and Tract Society.
  6. Also the FIRST CONGRESS established Christian Chaplains for each branch of the military, and each branch of government.
  7. The MOST QUOTED source of all America’s Founders was The Bible, Blackstone and Burke were also cited, and they both were Christian men and based their views and writings upon Biblical Principles.
  8. There is NO Constitutional “wall of separation between church and state”. Christians do NOT have less, NOR inferior/2nd class rights. As already noted America’s Founders were deeply Christian men, and 98% of all American’s were professing AND practicing Christians.
  9. We can FREELY discuss sports, the weather, favorite dishes, family, politics and religion ANYWHERE AT ANY TIME IN AMERICA.

 

Amendment II

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

  1.  The Founders equated The People to and with the Militia.
  2. There was to be NO law to infringe upon the rights of the citizenry to own, possess and carry a gun at ANY time, ANY where, of ANY type. There is NO Constitutional gun law except and apart from the 2nd Amendment.

Amendment III

No soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.

  1. The Founders KNEW that Liberty was insolubly linked to the Rule of Law, NOT the rule of man/men.
  2. Hence the adage “Your right to swing your fist stops at my nose.” America’s Founders, the ones who wrote the 1st Amendment, ALSO held sacred property rights. There was NO sense whatsoever of shared property, government ownership/control of property, or communism anywhere in Constitutional Law as America’s Founders wrote, and gave it to us.

Amendment IV

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

  1. America’s Founders KNEW that Liberty and one’s Rights meant nothing IF the government could violate a person’s PROPERTY for any, i.e. unreasonable reason.
  2. Hence America’s Founders codified into Constitutional Law the God-given,sacred right to private property. “A man’s home/property was HIS castle.” it was once believed and adhered to.

Amendment V

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unlesson a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger;nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of LIFE, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without JUST compensation.

  1. NO person will held for any capital or infamous crime UNLESS a presentment/indictment from a grand jury is duly issued, and there has been proper evidence, 2 or more witnesses affirming the same crime, beforehand.
  2. NO ONE shall ever be charged for the SAME crime more than once.
  3. America’s Founders listed LIFE as a right here, in the Declaration of Independence and in the 14th Amendment FIRST, recognising LIFE as a God-given, right that they THREE TIMES mentioned, and TWICE codify into CONSTITUTIONAL LAW. NO WHERE is the so-called “right to an abortion” ever even hinted at.
  4. ALL charges MUST be made via the Due Process of LAW; America’s Founders established the Rule of Law to safe-guard Liberties and Rights, NOT a rule of man/men to rule as authoritarian tyrants and despots.
  5. And NO PRIVATE property could EVER be taken without JUST compensation, and the due process of LAW. And there is NO “right” to take ANYONE’S PRIVATE property to give to another private entity for private use, (as Trump has violated many times).

Amendment VI

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.

  1. The Rule of Law was/IS Supreme. NO man or group was exempted, NONE preferred.
  2. There is to be NO favoritism, NO bigotry, NO pre-judging, NO “secret” charges, evidence, NOR “secret” witnesses.
  3. It was to be SPEEDY AND PUBLIC; NOT done in a darkened corner and to be drawn out with the accused languishing in jail indefinitely. This eliminates the years and decades long waits for execution that is common today among the those found guilty of capital crimes.

Amendment VII

In suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise reexamined in any court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.

 

  1. Once a trial by jury reached a verdict then that person/crime, and NONE of the facts of the case can reexamined in ANY other court EXCEPT via the rules of COMMON Law.
  2. This appertains to all non-capital crimes.
  3. There was NOT to be a set of laws for different classes of people, it was The COMMON Law for ALL people.

Amendment VIII

Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

  1. The punishment was to meet, NOT exceed the crime.
  2. Hence, NO ONE was to be executed for theft, fraud, or other non-capital offences.
  3. The death penalty was NOT and is NOT “cruel and unusual”. See also HERE.

Amendment IX

The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

  1. The Bill of Rights was NOT to be considered “all the rights and Liberties” of The People, and States.
  2. The Founders believed passionately that Liberty and Rights were LOCAL, i.e. FIRST with The People, Then with The States, LASTLY, with the Federal government.
  3. There was to be NO ruling, NO dispatching of rights and liberties, from a far off by a unknowing, uncaring people.

Amendment X

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.

  1. NO law, NO ruling from the federal government was to ever supersede The Constitution.
  2. NO law, NO ruling from the federal government was to ever restrict, redefine nor prohibit God-given, Constitutionally-Codified Law, rights and liberties.
  3. The Founders established the preeminence of law, rights, and liberties being LOCAL, ie FIRST with The People, Then with The States, LASTLY with the federal government.
  4. America’s Founders did NOT want NOR establish a rule of man/a group from a far off.
  5. They established the Rule of Law that began LOCALLY, individually.
  6. Government, first local, then State, then federal ONLY got involved to resolve disputes.

Amendment XI

The Judicial power of the United States shall not be construed to extend to any suit in law or equity, commenced or prosecuted against one of the United States by Citizens of another State, or by Citizens or Subjects of any Foreign State.

  1. This prevented a State or federal court from ruling on a decision in another State.
  2. It also prohibited the federal courts from becoming involved in a decision between States.
  3. ONLY upon appeal via the due process of law would a federal court become involved in deciding Stated cases.

The entirety of America’s Founding Fathers world-view was:

  1. As little government as possible.
  2. As much individual Liberty and Rights as possible.
  3. One person’s rights and liberties was NEVER to transgress against or trespass upon another’s rights and liberties.
  4. There was NO prohibition against the FREE and PUBLIC display, expression and celebration of the Christian faith.
  5. There was NO prohibition against a FREE press, regardless of their political and/or religious views.
  6. The deciding of any conflict, and trying and punishment of any crime was to begin local and ONLY move up upon appeal, when allowed, and then via the due process of law.
  7. We were founded upon the rule of LawNOT the rule of man/ a group.
  8. America’s Founders CLEARLY saw LIFE as a God-given right that they thrice codified into Law.

LASTLY, FOR THOSE WHO SAY THERE IS “NO COMMON DEFINITION OF CONSERVATISM”, HERE IS THE COMMON DEFINITION OF CONSERVATISM WITH IT’S CORE PRINCIPLES, VIEWS AND VALUES.

 

DEFINED:

A conservative is someone who rises above his personal self-interest and promotes moral and economic values beneficial to all. A conservative is willing to learn and advocate the insights of economics and the logic of the Bible for the benefit of everyone else. A conservative favors conserving value by not giving handouts to anyone who does not really need them.

A conservative typically adheres to principles of personal responsibility, moral values, and limited government, agreeing with George Washington‘s Farewell Address that “religion and morality are indispensable supports” to political prosperity.[1][2]

Phil Crane, the leading conservative congressman in the House from 1969 to 2005, urged people to make the world a better place than where they found it, and quoted frequently from the Bible in pursuit of that goal.[3]

Former President Ronald Reagan said, “The basis of conservatism is a desire for less government interference or less centralized authority or more individual freedom.”[4]

To be true, yes, there has been a splintering of what some call Conservatism into factions and groups, this is a divide and conquer tactic predominantly employed by The Left and by the ignorant or some self-seeking motive.

BUT when one traditionally claims Conservatism, THIS is it.  

NO longer is the excuse of “NO Common understanding and defining of Conservatism” a valid excuse for claiming to BE Conservative and yet NOT embrace Conservative Principles, and to actually share and hold to Liberal Principles and Values. THIS forever removes that as the phoney cloak to operate as a “Liberal-in-Conservative-Clothing”, such as Milo Yianopolous, Steve Bannon, Steve Mnuchin, Rex Tillerson, and Donald Trump, and a host of other Alt-Right/Fascists and R.I.N.O.s .

ANYONE who from this point on says “I didn’t know/ There is NO Common understanding of what Conservatism is” is either a liar or stupid. And neither should be listened to or followed.

The Wisconsin governor has asked Trump to restore the balance of federal and state power. Here’s why all states should rally to his call.

America owes President Barack Obama an enormous debt of gratitude for showing how truly dangerous the federal government can be when our Constitution’s checks and balances start failing. With the active collusion of congressional Democrats, President Obama’s presidency has been one long series of body blows to the separation of powers that has protected our democracy since the Founding. The results have been stark. Never has a president trampled so much on the prerogatives of Congress. Obama’s executive orders, suspending parts of our immigration laws and even his own prized Obamacare, have been sheer usurpations, going far beyond even the breathtaking delegations of legislative authority granted by the brief Democratic supermajority in Congress in 2009–10….

…The separation of state and federal authority is one of the most essential principles of our Constitution. It explains the Constitution’s structural allocation of powers as much as the division between legislative, executive, and judicial functions. If we lose the separate and independent existence of state governments, we will lose our Constitution.

Hence the potentially historic importance of the initiative just announced by Governor Scott Walker, under the heading “Wisconsin, Not Washington.” This morning Governor Walker sent a letter to President-elect Trump, asking for Trump’s help in restoring the federal structure of the Constitution.
Governor Walker’s letter opens (after congratulating Trump) with a paragraph framing the issue in a way similar to how the Founders might have done it:

The question is not what functions the federal government should give back to the states, but what functions should the federal government have in the first place. The federal government was originally created to be a small, central government of limited powers, with everything else left to the states. Through years of federal overreach, this model has been turned on its head, and now is the time to right the ship. Power flows from the people to the government, not the other way around.

For more than a half-century, it has become abundantly clear that our nation faces increasing irreconcilable differences. At the root is the fact that there is one group of Americans who mostly want to be left alone and live according to the rule of law and the dictates of the U.S. Constitution while another group of Americans wants to control the lives of others and ignore both the rule of law and constitutional restraints on the federal government.

Should those Americans who favor the rule of law and constitutional government fight against or yield to those Americans who have contempt for the rule of law and constitutional government? Let’s look at a few of those irreconcilable differences.

Some Americans prefer to manage their own health care needs. Others wish to have the federal government dictate their health care. Some Americans want their earnings to be taxed only for the constitutionally mandated functions of the federal government, which are outlined in Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution. Others think American earnings should be taxed for anything on which Congress can muster a majority vote.

Though there is no constitutional authority for federal involvement in public education, some Americans want the federal government involved. The list of irreconcilable differences among the American people is nearly without end. These differences survive because of the timidity of those offended and the brute power of the federal government.

I think reconciliation is impossible; therefore, separation is the only long-term peaceful solution. Separation and independence do not require that liberty-loving Americans overthrow the federal government any more than they required Gen. George Washington to overthrow the British government in order to secede or required his successor secessionist, Confederate President Jefferson Davis, to overthrow the U.S. federal government.

You say, “All those government acts that you say violate the rule of law and the Constitution have been ruled constitutional by the courts!” That’s true. The courts have twisted the Constitution, but Thomas Jefferson warned, “To consider the judges as the ultimate arbiters of all constitutional questions (is) a very dangerous doctrine indeed and one which would place us under the despotism of an oligarchy.”

State governors and legislators ought to summon up the courage our Founding Fathers had in their response to the fifth Congress’ Alien and Sedition Acts in 1798. Written by Jefferson and James Madison, the Kentucky and Virginia Resolutions of 1798 and 1799 stated that those states’ legislatures considered the Alien and Sedition Acts unconstitutional.

They said, “Resolved, That the several States composing, the United States of America, are not united on the principle of unlimited submission to their general government … and … whensoever the general government assumes undelegated powers, its acts are unauthoritative, void, and of no force.” The 10th Amendment to our Constitution holds, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

The federal government should not be permitted to determine the scope of its own powers. Alexander Hamilton, in Federalist No. 28, said, “The State governments will, in all possible contingencies, afford complete security against invasions of the public liberty by the national authority.”

One response to federal encroachment is for state governments to declare federal laws that have no constitutional authority null and void and refuse to obey them. In other words, they should nullify federal laws that violate the Constitution. In good conscience, liberals could not object to nullification. There are hundreds of so-called sanctuary cities in the U.S. — liberal places that have chosen to nullify federal immigration laws and harbor immigrants who are here illegally.

Former slave Frederick Douglass advised: “Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them. … The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress.” We Americans appear to have very limited endurance in the face of tyrannical oppression.

For those not familiar with The Constitution and The Bill of Rights let me add this:

ARTICLE 1, SECTION 8
The Congress shall have the power
  • 1. to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts and excises, to pay the debts and provide for the common defence and general welfare of the United States; but all duties, imposts and excises shall be uniform throughout the United States:

QUICK: Someone Tell me WHERE in The Constitution does it codify health-care as a “Right”??

I was stunned not so much by what Republican President-elect Donald Trump just said about health care as by when he said it.

For virtually his entire presidential campaign, Trump spewed airy, grandiose promises about his plans for replacing Obamacare (the Affordable Care Act) with something cheaper and yet more robust; a new program that preserved the many popular elements of the ACA and eliminated the unpopular elements.

But that was politicking, in which inflated rhetoric and vaguely worded flimflam are part of the seduction.

It worked. He won.

And now, by rights, he should be on to governing. Just days before his inauguration Friday, he should be lowering expectations, scaling back his promises and preparing his supporters for the unhappy compromises, delays and disappointments that lie ahead, not feeding them more fantasies.

“We’re going to have insurance for everybody,” Trump told Washington Post national political reporter Robert Costa in a Saturday night phone interview.

Lower-income Americans, about 12.5 million of whom obtained coverage under Obamacare’s insurance exchanges, “can expect to have great health care,” Trump said. “It will be in a much simplified form. Much less expensive and much better. … They’ll be beautifully covered.”

Yes, go on.

“It’s not going to be their plan,” Trump said, referring to the existing, highly controversial, complex and admittedly flawed Democratic program passed in 2010 along party lines. “It’ll be another plan. But … I don’t want single-payer.”

Really? Because “insurance for everybody” that offers “great health care” “in a much simplified … much less expensive” form sounds an awful lot like single-payer — also known as Medicare for all, nationalized health care or universal coverage.

Trump was once all for it. “We must take care of our own,” he wrote in his 2000 book “The America We Deserve.” “We must have universal health care. Just imagine the improved quality of life for our society as a whole. … With more than 40 million Americans living day to day in fear that an illness or injury will wipe out their savings or drag them into bankruptcy, how can we truly engage in the ‘pursuit of happiness’ as our founders intended?

“The Canadian-style, single-payer system in which all payments for medical care are made to a single agency (as opposed to the large number of HMOs and insurance companies with their diverse rules, claim forms and deductibles) … helps Canadians live longer and healthier than Americans.”

And, Trump’s rote repudiation of single-payer in The Washington Post interview notwithstanding, it sounds like he’s still for it.

PELLEY: “The uninsured person is going to be taken care of. How? How?”

TRUMP: “They’re going to be taken care of. I would make a deal with existing hospitals to take care of people. And, you know what, if this is probably—”

PELLEY: “Make a deal? Who pays for it?”

TRUMP: —the government’s gonna pay for it. But we’re going to save so much money on the other side. But for the most it’s going to be a private plan and people are going to be able to go out and negotiate great plans with lots of different competition with lots of competitors with great companies and they can have their doctors, they can have plans, they can have everything.”

During the first Republican debate on August 6, 2015, moderator Bret Baier and Donald Trump had the following exchange:

TRUMP: “As far as single payer, it works in Canada. It works incredibly well in Scotland. It could have worked in a different age, which is the age you’re talking about here. What I’d like to see is a private system without the artificial lines around every state…Get rid of the artificial lines and you will have yourself great plans. And then we have to take care of the people that can’t take care of themselves. And I will do that through a different system.”

Trump never elaborated on how a Canadian-style system would have worked in the “different age” of 15 years ago.

Trump’s Larry King, NBC, and The Advocate interviews

In 1999, when Donald Trump was considering a run for president, he told Larry King:

“If you can’t take care of your sick in the country, forget it, it’s all over… I believe in universal healthcare.”

Similarly, in 1999, he said the following on NBC’s “Dateline”:

And he told The Advocate in February 2000:

“I would put forth a comprehensive health care program and fund it with an increase in corporate taxes.”

In 2000, Trump wrote a book called The America We Deserve, in which he praised universal healthcare systems:

“We must have universal healthcare…I’m a conservative on most issues but a liberal on this one. We should not hear so many stories of families ruined by healthcare expenses…

Doctors might be paid less than they are now, as is the case in Canada, but they would be able to treat more patients because of the reduction in their paperwork..

The Canadian plan also helps Canadians live longer and healthier than Americans. There are fewer medical lawsuits, less loss of labor to sickness, and lower costs to companies paying for the medical care of their employees. If the program were in place in Massachusetts in 1999 it would have reduced administrative costs by $2.5 million. We need, as a nation, to reexamine the single-payer plan, as many individual states are doing.”

Trump’s anecdote on David Letterman

Appearing on The Late Show in January 2015, Trump told a story about his friend who visited Scotland:

He was really in trouble, and they released him and he said, ‘Where do I pay?’ And they said, ‘There’s no charge.’ Not only that, he said it was like great doctors, great care. As the above examples show, Donald Trump has been an advocate of socialized medicine for decades.

Fossils Show Stasis and No Transitional Forms

 
The fossil record reflects the original diversity of life, not an evolving tree of increasing complexity. There are many examples of “living fossils,” where the species is alive today and found deep in the fossil record as well.
According to evolution models for the fossil record, there are three predictions:
1. wholesale change of organisms through time
2. primitive organisms gave rise to complex organisms
3. gradual derivation of new organisms produced transitional forms.
However, these predictions are not borne out by the data from the fossil record.
Trilobites, for instance, appear suddenly in the fossil record without any transitions. There are no fossils between simple single-cell organisms, such as bacteria, and complex invertebrates, such as trilobites.
Extinct trilobites had as much organized complexity as any of today’s invertebrates. In addition to trilobites, billions of other fossils have been found that suddenly appear, fully formed, such as clams, snails, sponges, and jellyfish. Over 300 different body plans are found without any fossil transitions between them and single-cell organisms.
Fish have no ancestors or transitional forms to show how invertebrates, with their skeletons on the outside, became vertebrates with their skeletons inside.
Fossils of a wide variety of flying and crawling insects appear without any transitions. Dragonflies, for example, appear suddenly in the fossil record. The highly complex systems that enable the dragonfly’s aerodynamic abilities have no ancestors in the fossil record.
In the entire fossil record, there is not a single unequivocal transition form proving a causal relationship between any two species. From the billions of fossils we have discovered, there should be thousands of clear examples if they existed.
The lack of transitions between species in the fossil record is what would be expected if life was created.

Also in some 6-12,000 YEARS of human observation there are NO EMPIRICAL, VERIFIABLE RECORDS OF LIVING CREATURES EVOLVING FROM SAY FROGS TO SKUNKS.
 
In short there is NO evidence anywhere of evolution.
 
Oh, sure, there are some “scientists” who dress up spurious theories in scientific jargon to confuse and bamboozle…but they have not and CAN NOT produce one shred of actual, real, scientific and empircal evidence that evolution EVER took place- NOT ONE TIME.
 
As to Creator God using evolution to create…utterly false.
Evolution, at best, LIMITS AND RESTRICTS God. God supplied the basic mass, energy, light, elements and so-forth AND BLIND CHANCE did the rest?!! That in and of itself is spurious. And as already shown there is NO evidence anywhere of evolution- AT ALL.
 
God did NOT “need” evoluition to do anything.
 
No more than you could blow your car up and “create” a  “something” even remotely useful and useable, The “Big Bang” is equally as ludicrous.
 
No more than 50 blind apes on PCP could design and assemble a GMC Yukon Denali, you can NOT “just get” the ENTIRE UNIVERSE in all it’s minute detail and design through a series of BLIND CHANCE ACCIDENTS.
 
It not only DIDN’T happen that way- it COULDN’T happen that way.
 
The SCIENTIFIC FACT that there is the evidence of MAN through out the entire “geological column” obliterates the MYTH of Evolution 100% on it’s face.
