Politics and Government are “Dirty”: Christians Should Stay Out Of Them…Right?

If God is in fact separated from the government, then we can never possibly have a godly government. There’s no way for America to be good if she’s not godly.

FIRST THINGS FIRST.

The reason the word dirty is in quotes in the title of the article is because politics/government are ONLY dirty to the extent WE divorce them from God, HIS Word, and from Christian influence.

SEVERAL THINGS TO NOTE HERE:

  1. These are REQUIREMENTS/MUSTS,

  3. These make for a Godly, good government,
  4. Their absence make for what we have now.

IF we took THIS detailed list and applied it to EVERY politician, judge, leader…from the President to Supreme Court to Congress to each Governor…fully 99% would be OUT of office…most NEVER belonged there in the first place.

“BUT”, you ask, “if God is Sovereign then HOW did these unjust, unfit, ungodly, immoral people become leaders then?”

God-who IS Sovereign- allows us free will, to choose, until HE sets up HIS throne on Earth…for those saying “NO!” to this, here is scripture that speaks directly on the subject:

I’m 60 years old.

Have been a Christian now for almost 44 of those years.

I lived through a lot of changes in this world. Have studied history and current/recent events in the light of God’s Holy Word, The Biblewe USE TO HAVE THIS IN AMERICA:

Give Me Liberty Or Give Me Death

No man thinks more highly than I do of the patriotism, as well as abilities, of the very worthy gentlemen who have just addressed the House. But different men often see the same subject in different lights; and, therefore, I hope it will not be thought disrespectful to those gentlemen if, entertaining as I do opinions of a character very opposite to theirs, I shall speak forth my sentiments freely and without reserve. This is no time for ceremony. The questing before the House is one of awful moment to this country. For my own part, I consider it as nothing less than a question of freedom or slavery; and in proportion to the magnitude of the subject ought to be the freedom of the debate. It is in vain, sir, to extenuate the matter. Gentlemen may cry, Peace, Peace– but there is no peace [Jer. 6:14].  The war is actually begun! The next gale that sweeps from the north will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the field!  Why stand we here idle [Matt. 20:6]? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!

We as a nation gradually CHOSE step-by-step to stray further from The Lord God and HIS Holy Word, and to become increasingly more secular, humanistic, proud, haughty, and defiant of God and ALL HE stands for.

So God has step-by-step let us have what we CHOSE. Step-by-step God has, and IS withdrawing His hand from America as a nation, a people. God is letting us have what WE CHOOSE.

As a direct result of OUR CHOICES divorce has risen, fornication as risen, adultery has risen, sodomy (homosexuality/lesbianism) has come out of the darkness into broad daylight, drugs are prevalent, rape, murder, assault have risen…

America banned God in 1962, and in 1972 made murdering babies legal…each year 500,000 teens attempt suicide- 50,000 succeed.

WHERE IS THE GLORIOUS CHURCH OF THE LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST???

For the most part the vast majority of what was once a Godly, Thriving, Holy, and Loving church is dead…or dying…We, as Christians, were told to “stay out of politics/politics has NO place in church”…even from the pulpits…so…LOOK AT WHAT WE GOT…DUE TO OUR CHOICES…

So….while many evangelicals, Christians, and supposed Constitutional-Conservatives place their deluded hopes and trust in Trump…mine is still firmly rooted in The Lord Jesus Christ and The Holy Word of God.
