PROLOGUE.

I will speak mostly to those who claim to be Christian, judgment MUST begin FIRST at The Church,  and though a lot of this can be applied to people of other faiths, or no faith at all, my intent is to primarily stir up the pure mind of The Church, Christians. 

There is far too much double mindedness, too much worldly thinking and living in and among too many “Christians”, this is meant to stir, shake, challenge, correct, and restore The Church of The Lord Jesus Christ.

One of the most subtle, and yet most deadly views to be found currently in the church is the double-edged sword of “Tolerance and Diversity”. BUT…does The Lord God of Heaven and Earth mention and support the “Tolerance/Diversity” world-view? The ONLY place that it matters to look is in The Bible, so, it will be within the Sacred, Holy Writ of God’s Word that we will look.

Does God Tolerate Sin and Sinners? Does The Lord God Endorse and Embrace The Modern, Liberal/Progressive Doctrine of “Diversity”?

12 A naughty person, a wicked man, walketh with a froward mouth.

13 He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, he teacheth with his fingers;

When you take the time to slowly and prayerfully read the above Scripture passages one thing stands starkly out: God does NOT tolerate sin (The Flood of Noah, Sodom and Gomorrah, The Plagues on Egypt…), NOR does God embrace or endorse in any fashion the modern spirit of “Tolerance and Diversity” IN the “church”.

Today’s modern “church”, and the world at large preach a FALSE “Gospel” of “Tolerance and Diversity”. This is The Apostacy spoken of HERE , HERE , HERE, and HERE

Within the confines of today’s “modern church” you will find: fornication, adultery, sodomy/homosexuality/lesbianism, greed, gambling, drinking, smoking, dancing, witchcraft/new-age, tattoos, body piercing, lying, theft, gossiping/tale-bearing, sedition, heresy, racism, and all manner of the very evil GOD HATES and COMMANDS US TO ABSTAIN FROM…SEE MORE OF GOD’S COMMANDS ON THIS HEREHERE , and HERE .

There Is NO “Gray Area” With GOD.

So, if we are NOT to tolerate sin at all how then is the true, and real Church of The Lord Jesus Christ to interact with, and reach the lost? The same way Jesus did. With and in true, real, Godly love.

The Word of God does NOT present a sugar-coated, soft-soap, watered-down, easy-on-itching-ears Gospel. No. The Gospel is black and white, right and wrong, good and evil…God deals with sin and sinners head-on…IN LOVE.

While never tolerating their sin ever – God so LOVED the sinner that HE gave HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN Son for US while we were STILL SINNERS so that the Precious Blood of Jesus could wash US and make whiter than snow, and we would be made New Creatures IN Christ Jesus.

Love the sinner. Hate the sin. Stand fast IN the Liberty wherewith Christ has made US FREE…and be NOT entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

What is damning more souls to Hell than Communism, Liberalism, Atheism, and False Religion is a lukewarm, sugar-coated, soft-soap peddling, backslid, worldly, and carnal “Church”. The world sees all the false doctrine, all the lewdness, all the greed and corruption, all the hypocrisy and can NOT see the REAL Church of The Lord Jesus Christ because of all the heretics, blasphemers, and hypocrites. THIS breaks the heart of God, and damns countless BILLIONS TO HELL.

Church of The ONE TRUE Living God, we need to REPENT…AND REPENT NOW! We MUST stop NOW this “do or support evil that good may come”!! Evil is evil. And God HATES it. PERIOD.

THE SINGLE BIGGEST PROBLEM IN THE CHURCH, (other than the above aforementioned sin and wickedness IN the church, even in many pulpits!!)?? Is when ANYONE speaks out like this against sin, wickedness, and false doctrine IN the church, and IN a Christians life the majority of the “church” will castigate, criticise, smear, and attack The Watchmen, all while coddling the sin and the sinner.

Rather than loving God and God’s Word with ALL their  heart, with ALL their soul, with ALL their mind, and with ALL their strength and joining WITH The Watchman to expose sin and turn sinners TO repentance unto faith God, these high-minded hypocrites blast The Watchmen as being “Legalistic”, “Judge-A-Mental”, “self-righteous”, and “divisive”. 

YET God’s Word says CLEARLY:

Romans 16:17-18. King James Version

17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

Can we all agree that in The Bible there is NO higher authority than God/Jesus/The Holy Spirit?

24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

This is The Lord Jesus Christ talking. HE speaks of TWO types of judging here. Superficial, hypocritical, and “righteous judging”.

The superficial/hypocritical Christ straitly forbids.

The Righteous judging HE commands.

Deuteronomy 1:12-18 King James Version (KJV)

12 How can I myself alone bear your cumbrance, and your burden, and your strife?

13 Take you wise men, and understanding, and known among your tribes, and I will make them rulers over you.

14 And ye answered me, and said, The thing which thou hast spoken is good for us to do.

15 So I took the chief of your tribes, wise men, and known, and made them heads over you, captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, and captains over fifties, and captains over tens, and officers among your tribes.

16 And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously between every man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him.

17 Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is God’s: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it.

Here God commands, sets in order, and details the way to judge, judge ONLY according to God’s Word/Law.

Exodus 18:13-23 King James Version (KJV)

13 And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses sat to judge the people: and the people stood by Moses from the morning unto the evening.

14 And when Moses’ father in law saw all that he did to the people, he said, What is this thing that thou doest to the people? why sittest thou thyself alone, and all the people stand by thee from morning unto even?

15 And Moses said unto his father in law, Because the people come unto me to enquire of God:

16 When they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between one and another, and I do make them know the statutes of God, and his laws.

[NOTE: In the original Hebrew of the O.T. and Greek of the N.T. discern means: to judge correctly. THIS is very important later on as we’ll see.]

[NOTE: God’s Word says Paul passed this judgment though NOT physically present. God’s Word IS Truth, IS Right, no matter the distance or location.]

Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this lifeset them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.

I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?

But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.

[NOTE: Here is the word DISCERN again, as 1st seen in Malachi 3:16-18. One of the GIFTS of The Spirit is “discerning of/judging of spirits”. THIS will be seen as very vital later.]

[NOTE: From Malachi 3 to I Corinthians 12, now here in I John 4 we see the NEED of DISCERNING OF/judging of spirits, doctrine, truth, error, and right and wrong according TO God’s Word.]

Matthew 18:15-17 King James Version (KJV)

15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.

[NOTE: This is Jesus talking again, the HIGHEST authority there is, and HE says HOW to execute judgment among the brethren in the church.]

Lastly, THE MOST MISUNDERSTOOD, MISUSED SCRIPTURE PASSAGE IN THE ENTIRE BIBLE, by saint and sinner alike.

Matthew 7:1-23 King James Version (KJV)

Judge not, that ye be not judged.

For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

Thou hypocritefirst cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

Give not that which is holy unto the dogsneither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you…

…13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Many stop at verse one like that is all that The Lord Jesus Christ said.

BUT place that INTO the proper CONTEXT of the rest of the chapter, and indeed, The WHOLE BIBLE and you see Jesus Christ says in more detail in Matthew chpt. 7 what HE says in John 7:24.

Jesus does NOT give a blanket prohibition of judging, BUT of superficial, hypocritical judging.

The Conclusion of the Whole Matter:

  1. STUDY GOD’S WORD- ALL OF IT.
  2. LEARN GOD’S WORD- ALL OF IT.
  3. BELIEVE GOD’S WORD- ALL OF IT.
  4. LIVE BY GOD’S WORD- AGAIN, ALL OF IT.
  5. And when God’s Word says something is right IT IS RIGHT regardless of who says otherwise.
  6. When God’s Word says something is wrong IT IS WRONG regardless of who says otherwise.
  7. Do NOT be shallow.
  8. Do NOT be hypocritical.
  9. Do NOT be hateful, hate-filled, NOR in anyway operate in hate.
  10. If you see a moral or doctrinal error PRAY FIRST. And ALWAYS respond IN and WITH LOVE, [Ephesians 4:15].

If you’re happy that someone failed so you can be the “Bible Cop”…then YOUR heart is not right. Pray. Repent. Get forgiveness. Get restoration.

Two things about Godly judgment:

MUST BE SQUARELY ROOTED IN GOD’S WORD- NO OPINION.

MUST BE COMPLETELY IN AND BY GOD’S LOVE- PERIOD.

It is not self righteous to support righteous rulers, and to desire and to stand for what God IN HIS Holy Word declares to BE Right. SOURCE .

QUIT LEANING ON THE ARM OF THE FLESH AND TRY TO DO OR SUPPORT THE LEAST AMOUNT OF EVIL YOU CAN AND STILL SURVIVE- BUT WHOLLY WITH ALL YOUR HEART, ALL YOUR SOUL, ALL YOUR MIND, AND ALL YOUR STRENGTH LEAN ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND LIVE AS CLOSE TO HIM AS POSSIBLE.
